Steve Searfoss accepts the Punt Pass Kick National Championship Trophy from Ford Motor Company Executives at the NFL Pro-Bowl Games in 1970 (New Orleans), 1972 (New Orleans) and 1973 (San Francisco, CA) . He won the National Title at ages 10, 12 and 13 for the Boys 8-13 Category. His local titles were earned at the Firth Youth Center, where he advanced to Regional and State Tournaments, and, eventually, the National Competition. Exceeding the weight limit for youth football, Steve's Dad decided to practice punting, passing, and kicking at Walters Park and behind the FYC every night so young Stevie had an opportunity to compete in some form of the sport. Steve went on to become a Hall of Fame football player for Phillipsburg High and was a 4-year starter for the University of Mississippi. Along with his lifelong friend, Ernie Honey, Steve is excited to bring back this tradition to the kids of P'burg!
