What is After School Care v. Drop-in?
After School Care runs Monday-Friday 2:45-6:00pm for 2nd-8th graders. It includes homework help, snack, activities, open gym and is supervised by our staff. The program also opens early at 12:45pm when there are PES or PMS scheduled half days. The cost is $160 per month plus the one-time $15 Annual Membership Fee and completed enrollment packet with copies of the child's most-recent physical and immunizations are required.
Drop-in Programs are separate designated hours for Elementary, Middle and High school students to have supervised open gym time in the facility. Youth can sign themselves in/out without parental consent once a waiver is signed. $15 Annual Membership & parental consent waivers are required for participation.

What comes with the annual membership and how do I get one?
Membership is $15 for the year and allows your child to attend their age group's drop-in hours and all additional programs/special events throughout the year. Membership must be renewed each year starting September 1st. The Membership form is online or you can stop by the Firth Youth Center to pick one up!

The vast majority of FYC programs are FREE to Phillipsburg youth.
Once the Annual Membership/Consent Waiver is complete for the school year,
youth can enroll for programs online or by stopping by the FYC during program hours.

How much does Summer Camp cost? How do I sign my child up?
Summer Camp typically runs from 8am-4:30pm* Monday-Friday for 10-weeks of summer for children ages 6-12.
Camp cost is $160* per week and includes lunch, afternoon snack, special activities, and transportation to field trips/swimming. Enrollment is first come, first serve.
To reserve a spot, the following is required: Completed enrollment packet (available at the end of March each year), Up-to-date physical and immunization records, $40 deposit for each week enrolled paid via cash or check (unless you have a current Norwescap contract), & Membership/Parental Consent Form. Please note without a deposit, your child(ren) will be placed on the waitlist.

Do you offer transportation?
No, we do not offer any transportation, except for Summer Camp Field Trips.
Transportation arrangements are the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
