HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT
LEAD Phillipsburg and Warren Hills Community Coalition present: HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT. The Hidden in Plain Sight video provides participants with a digital version of a mock teen bedroom set-up to explain various trends of teen substance use, signs, symptoms, and lingo in an effort to raise awareness about substance use disorders. Keely Rehman, LEAD Phillipsburg Project Coordinator, and Sarah Lake, Warren Hills Community Coalition Project Coordinator, are both prevention specialists who review where to look in the mock bedroom, what to look for if substance use is already suspected, and what to do if substance paraphernalia are found.
Hidden in Plain Sight will also be made available at various public events to provide participants an opportunity to explore a mock teen's bedroom on their own before the prevention specialist reviews it with them. The experience provides resources and tools for parents and community members to identify further prevention tips, programs, and services available in Warren County.
